
CONFERENCE “DIGITAL REALITIES”
We would like to remind you that on 13-14 May 2021 an online conference Digital realities: work, mobilities, and new opportunities and risks in Central and Eastern Europe in the (post)pandemic period will be held on Zoom.
The conference is organised by General Sociology Department of the Institute of Sociology, University of Wroclaw, together with the Sociology of Work Section of the Polish Sociological Association and the Wroclaw Department of the Polish Sociological Association, with the support of Student Club for Social Initiatives and the University of Wroclaw (KISS UWr) and the Research Committee 44 on Labour Movements of the International Sociological Association.
The conference will bring together several dozen people from Poland, France, Belgium, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, the Netherlands and Hungary. We will discuss the impact of the pandemic on transformations in the labour market and workplaces. Submitted papers concern the impact of the pandemic on digitalisation processes in the workplace, shifts in the quality of employment, collective labour relations, development of the platform economy, international migration and transformations in the sphere of education.
The seminar will be organised online on the 13th and 14th of May 2021.
